‘CDMA and the Applications of Adaptive Filters’ – A study-based project, involving an in-depth analysis of the single and multi-user receivers used for Code Division Multiple Access. Emphasis given to the applications of Adaptive Filters used in the Single – user receivers. ‘VLSI Design of DSP Algorithms’ - The project involved writing codes for the implementation of DSP Algorithms using Verilog HDL, for the design of FIR and IIR Filters. ‘Communication Technology in Buildings’ for SIEMENS - Landis and Staefa, Dubai, in 2003 This project involved designing an IBMS system, by integrating HVAC, Lighting, CCTV and Security modules. ‘Economic Area and Indoor Lighting Design’ – Done for Petrofac Intl Ltd, Sharjah, this project involved the design of the Lighting System for a unit of the Gas Plant of the Kashagan Experimental Developmental Program in Kazakhstan. ‘Logistics of Spinneys Supermarket’ – This project involved collecting real time information about the Inventory levels, transportation costs etc. from Spinneys Group of Companies in Dubai. It was suggested that building another warehouse in Abu Dhabi would prove economical. ACHIEVEMENTS
